Establishment of a Technical Institution is a boon to the youngsters of Hinjlicut. This institution started with four trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Welder and Mech. Motor Vehicle in the building of agriculture department at Larkipali. The office functioned at DIC, Hinjlicut In the year 1986, it shifted to the own Govt. building where full-fledged infracture was available. Now ITI, Hinjlicut has abundantly developed in all respects. Training is extending in 8 trades having seating capacity of six hundred.

For accommodation to the trainees, three hostels are in one campus. About more than 200 hostellers are residing. It is a homely environment so that the students never feel they are away from their home. Proper care and nourishment is given at the time of need of boarders.

The trades are affiliated by the NCVT, New Delhi. The poor boys and girls are rushing to ITI with a ray of hope for getting a job. Training is given meticulously at this institute to accomplish their goal and there is no gap between trainees and teachers.

Besides this, ITI provides short term courses like Basic Electrical, Basic Electronics, Automobile repairing, Wiring, Milling, Turning and Fabrication. No money is to be spent for the above courses. Special attention is focused on extra curricular activities such as Sports, Cultural, Debate and Community works.

It has well developed communication Lab, Computer Lab and Placement Cell. The Companyies are invited for campus and the passed out got job through this campus. The Ex-students have placed in both public and private sectors and bring fame to this institution being employed in NALCO, ISRO, DRDO, Ordnance, Railway, Coal mines etc. This institution has produced good entrepreneurs. Their contribution to the society is unaccountable. They have created job and extended financial help to the local unemployed youths who are roaring here and there. So healthy society appeared by the successful entrepreneurs providing employment to the trained unemployment youths.
