Government ITI Hinjilicut is one among the major institutions of Odisha. This institute functions under Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Cuttack, Odisha, under Department of Skill Development & Technical Education, Odisha.

It was established in 2008 to provide Craftsman Training (C.T.) with six months trade to enhance employability generating skills. It has its own building which was built in 2013 with its own workshop, a separate hostel for boys and girls, staff quarter, playground, indoor game hall, smart classroom with digital content, and an IT Lab with Wi-Fi Campus. At present there are 13 different trades and 62 units under Craft Training System. ITI Hinjilicut has been graded number one ITI among all Government ITIs of Odisha for the past 2 years as per the first phase grading system done by DGET.in Phase grading we are maintained 2nd position in all the Govt. ITIs of Odisha The institute is committed to continuing such programs on a large scale in the future, for the development of students’ fraternity. With humble beginnings of 42 trainees across two trades in 2008, it has now increased to 1328 trainees on roll. This year we are planning for adding 2 new ages trade like Drone Pilot and solar technician trade.

What sets the ITI apart is its motto of quality education; mentoring sessions, consultation of graduates, lush green WIFI campus, student services, calm atmosphere, campus placement cell, regular industrial visit and Audio-Visual Classes. The ITI also provides free education to deserving meritorious students without funds and orphans. The ITI supports Greenathon & conducts social activities and awareness campaigns such as providing regular electrical maintenance services to nearby villages and schools.
